That's great! So happy to see that the show never aired. Now let's work on getting 16 and pregnant of the air.

Here they go once again, wasn't there a petition before, I remember signing one previously. This is a shame, any opportunity WHITE
CORPORATIONS get a chance to make us look bad they jump
right on it. I hope this show does not make the air. They all should
be a shame of themselves. What we will do for a dollar!

I am a long time educator who has been married to a good, strong black man for 31 years. We are parents of two well balanced, educated, successful and self supporting young men who just happen to be respectful of black women. I am so tired of the negative images of African Americans being blasted across the media as the norm. We are not what they are trying to portray. We are more than that in so many, many ways. I do not support this show at all. Stop degrading our race!

I am so glad that my signature counted for something. Even the name of that show is an embarrassment to the black community. I'm still upset that this was even an idea in someone's head.

Yayyyyyy! Good work Sabrina. I signed back when the petition had a mere 1500 signatures. I'm very exited to see what can happen and WILL happen when people stick together for such a cause as this. This is TRULY an example of a nation moving forward.

I had the very same notion of starting a petition for this madness. ONE DOWN and many many many more to go!!!

I want a more positive example of black women to be shown on the media. I'm saddened by the ignorant, ugly portrayal this show gives us.

The American public already has little to no respect for African American women, they don't need to be given ammunition.

I definitely think that standing together against TV executives, not only oxygen, demanding that they provide a quality product that does not perpetuate any stereotypes towards any one particular group is important for the continued growth, and not destruction of that group in question. Why not show a traditional African American father/family, married, with 2-3 kids, by the same mother, Professionals or blue collar workers living the American dream? I know it's boring to you guys, and is not how you view or want to view young African Americans. But it too is reality. Shame.
