Indiana House Enrolled Act No. 1053 prohibits local governments from regulating or imposing any restriction, tax, etc; on plastic bags and other single use food containers.  This bill needs to be overturned so that we can regulate single-use plastics.  Not only does this bill impose unfairly and un-democratically on local governments, but single use plastics pose an enormous threat to our health and to that of our planet.  Thus, local governments should again be given the right to regulate them as they see fit.
