Petition for Emergency Registration for Overseas Nurses trained outside EU who are settled here in ireland, during this emergency situation

As we are all aware the HSE is currently experiencing a severe shortage of nurses amid this deadly Covid19 outbreak. This has an ongoing effect in the health care sector especially in patient care and safety.

It is appreciated that the Irish government are trying to resolve this issues with their best. however it is a reality that still there are no imminent solutions are in place to overcome this crisis.

In this event we request to you all responsible citizens to take this opportunity to raise your voice which will make a huge difference in our amazing NMBI/ HSE who face and fighting this Emergency pandemic Covid19 battle.

It is really frustrating to hear that thousands of experienced overseas Registered Nurses are still working as Health Care Assistants in HSE hospitals and Care Homes all over the Ireland. These nurses are may Irish nationals or permanent residents and want to be recognised for the qualifications that they have achieved from their native countries. Some of them have managed to obtain Irish degree. They want to be able to practice as a registered nurse even for just a limited time only amid this unprecedented phenomenon so we can support our HSE to sustain and combat this invisible enemy that killing our loved ones.

In these most struggling times, those people who are significantly affected by this deadly virus need more healthcare professionals to look after them.

Please include us in your plan. We want to help the nation during this emergency circumstances.
