The Muslim community in India, one of the largest Muslim minorities in the world is not unfamiliar with the hateful narratives peddled by the BJP. Since they came into power in 2014, the country has witnessed rising Islamophobia demonstrated in the increasingly frequent and violent attacks against Muslims, Recently BJP member Nupur Sharma not only disrespected Prophet Muhammad ﷺ but also mentioned that she will start making fun of what’s it written in the Quran.

My dear brothers and sister in Islam it's our duty and responsibility to defend the honour of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ although defamatory statements have been condemned by all Muslim countries and protests have been going on all across India in such an incident which took place today, Indian police in Ranchi have shot an unarmed boy who took part in the protest, The Organization of Islamic Cooperation must now act decisively and UK government must also strongly condemn these deliberate acts and the innocent killing led by Indian police under BJP ruling.
