Hello students! As many of you know, the Mental Health proctored exam was removed from our possible points as a result of the online transition due to COVID-19, however, there were no equal percent assignment options given in lieu of this absence. A lot of us rely on the proctored exam to help with not only our grasp on the material but also to help our critical grade as this exam as we all know weighs 12% on your grade. This has caused much frustration to many students as this is a heavy amount that can help your grade tremendously and with no substitution options given, it had not allowed us to succeed and get the grade that we know we could have achieved if we had been given an alternative option. Given that we are very concerned about our academic success, we propose that our university officials take into consideration granting us the option of an alternative assignment worth 12%. This absence of a proctored exam has greatly affected many students. Please consider this request as this decision is enormously affecting our academic performance, by signing this petition it will hopefully grab the attention of our academic faculty and show them how many students this has affected and help to right this wrong.
