PETITION To:  the Council of the City of Ottawa 110 Laurier Ave West, Ottawa (ON) K1P 1J1 Whereas: The City of Ottawa has proposed a new Community Design Plan for Uptown Rideau (East of King Edward) We the undersigned, petition the Council of the City of Ottawa as follows: To ensure that no high-rise development is permitted on the south side of Rideau Street between Chapel and the Cummings Bridge; and, to adopt more stringent requirements than those currently proposed for high-rise buildings in all other areas of Uptown Rideau. PÉTITION Destinataire : Conseil municipal d’Ottawa 110, ave Laurier Ouest, Ottawa (ON)  K1P 1J1 Attendu que : la Ville d’Ottawa a proposé un nouveau Plan de conception communautaire du secteur Est de la rue Rideau (à l' Est de l’avenue King Edward) Nous,  soussignés,  présentons la pétition suivante au Conseil municipal d’Ottawa : Pour s’ assurer  qu’aucun   bâtiment de grande hauteur soit autorisé sur le côté sud de la rue Rideau, entre la rue Chapel et le pont Cummings; et, pour adopter des exigences plus strictes que celles actuellement proposées pour des bâtiments de grande hauteur dans tous les autres secteurs  à l’ Est  de la rue Rideau.
