We shouldn't get judged for our passed or history. As an individual we should be able to trust and have faith that OUR DEANS are there if we need them. This year was disturbed, due to Covid-19 but the amount of times we ( Year 11 ) were at school this current year (2021), we did not feel like our dean was there to help and provide guidance for troubled kids nor kids whom were good.

The point of this petition is that we as a school or community are organising for all, especially Year 11's to sign this petition because we feel like Mr M does not fulfil The Year 12 Dean Position. Our Year 11 students this year that are transitioning into becoming year 12 next year won't have a chance to have a fresh start to change or impress. Our school, students, pupils as a community would feel as if it would be fair for our students to have an opportunity to speak on this decision as one. Our previous past students have experienced has had a strong influence on why we need a encouraging and supporting dean. Therefore, we welcome, encourage and thankfully appreciate anyone and everybody to sign. As a student at Otahuhu College we would like to begin another chapter with a devoted and caring dean where students can feel cherished, safe and most importantly not to constantly feel belittled or judged by our work ethic, actions and decisions.
