It is better to leave when the handwriting on the wall is clear... For it is better to have a dead Father than to be a bastard. ------------- LAUREL

LAUTECH is not a business company.

For Your Information, the tertiary institution was not established to be fully self funded but to get monthly subvention from the owner States and supports from the Federal Government.

Interestingly, the goal was to produce graduates who are self reliant and found of good characters, by the end of every academic year. Hence, the precepts; Excellence, Integrity & Service.

Please be informed that the need to establish LAUTECH - Ogbomoso, was driven by the quest to make quality tertiary education affordable for the children of the indigents in the State.--------- STEAM (LAUTECH SUG PRESIDENT 11/12)

On the issue of LAUTECH, the steps Gov Seyi Makinde have taken so far after his inauguration has shown his intentions and love towards LAUTECH are genuine. If he can fulfil those promises, he will reap the reward in the nearest future

Oluwasegun Idowu (Lhml)

Settle the individual indebtedness and continue the joint business which will unite us as brotherhood ----- Horla Nawty

To avoid further conflict of interest and incessant strike due to inadequate funds and no monthly subvention from either one of the owner state. Let the lautech as a project reevaluate her assets, liabilities and equity & goodwill and apportion percentage to each one of the owner state and free Osun from lautech since Osun now have her own state University and can use the funds that will be available to cater for her with other resources to develop the solo university while Oyo control & manage lautech to stop the daily closure and bad image of the school with its side effect already taking its toll on students, staffs welfare and the host community. -------------- Mr
Planet

The present situation of things in LAUTECH demands that all concerned indigenes of Oyo and Osun States call their representatives to order if they fail to intervene in the crises that has rocked the school for over a decade and may eventually collapse it totally. After all, sovereignty belongs to the people. ---------- STEAM

This is no time to rhetorics, fustian and grandiloquence, but a time to speak truth to authorities and put the records straight. In fact, our silence in times like this is unjust and a betrayal of the oath we sworn to our Alma mata.

Once upon a time, Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology, Ogbomoso had an aura of enviable greatness and was seen as the goose that lays the golden egg. Today, it has become almost impossible for members of the public and some stakeholders in the university to unravel the mystery of the buildup that seems to have enveloped the friendly aura and may eventually suffocate the entity to death. ---------GEN DAVID

There is an urgent need for all interested stakeholders in LAUTECH, this is to include The Two State Governors , The Governing Council , The LAUTECH MANAGEMENT TEAM, The STAFF UNIONS, The leadership of LAUTECH Alumni Association, past students' leaders, alumnus who are members of staff in the university, business owners in the Ogbomosho community, Ogbomoso Parapo, traditional leaders in Oyo state, political leaders and spiritual leaders, Parent Forum to meet and proffer solutions to the present hurdles, discuss the future of the university and design a timed strategic plan. Our failure to do this in the nearest possible time would pose a bigger threat to all of us, and we are set for another prolonged strike.------------ LAUREL
