As you are likely aware, there isn't any Cricket ground available in the city of Oshawa. Nevertheless, there has been a considerable increase in interest in the sport. Cricket lovers have started playing in parking lots, schoolyards, and open fields built for other sports. However, playing in current conditions raises safety concerns for players as well as the community.

Cricket is similar to Baseball, and it needs pretty much of the same size of its own field.

As the City of Oshawa resident, I make the official right to the City Council to build us a proper Cricket dedicated field so that my family & I can enjoy the sport safely, and with peace of mind.
