I would like to express my sadness in the unfairness of my pet peacock being ordered to leave my property. I raised him from a day old as he was orphaned. He has been the most beautiful pet and has not caused any trouble until breeding season when he hears all the other peacocks in Aveley calling out. He has been happy here with us and usually quiet and content. Just this week a neighbour complained to the council and I have had to rehome him. If you've ever had to give up a loved pet you may know how I'm feeling.
Why is my peacock, who is tame by the way, treated differently to the local peacocks who make just as much noise. He makes less noise than most people's dogs. The Aveley peacocks have been here for years and are free to do as they please. My family is heartbroken and he is too. I just don't understand
