Walking/ biking area along Bidwell Road to improve safety for community of Simcoe Estates

Bidwell Road that passes through Simcoe Estates is a safety concern for many families living in the area. While it is a 50km/hr zone, many community members are reporting speeding well over the posted signage, and reckless driving.
This petition will be brought to the township of Oro Medonte, asking for some sort of 'sidewalk' to be created along Bidwell Road that will extend from one end of the housing area to the other ( Woodland Cres and Maple Ridge Rd to Hemlock Cres.) at minimum. By saying 'sidewalk', we mean some form of pathway along the side of Bidwell Rd. on which people can walk and children can ride bicycles, safely away from traffic.
Simcoe Estates is a relative small area of approximately 175 homes. Simcoe Estates homes have their own well for water, and septic system for which they are responsible for maintaining. If each household pays an average estimated tax to the township of $4500 annually, this amounts to $787,500 per year being given to township for snowclearing and road maintenance. Nearly, $1,000,000 is paid by our small cluster of homes to the township annually, so asking for a 'side path' for the safety of our community area is not a lot to ask.
All additional, positive comments are welcome.
