Curtis Fulcher started this petition to Orlando state attorneys office

Story:

Hello everyone I’ll try to make a long story short. In the beginning of the year Curtis was set up by a few teenagers to be robbed for a cell phone he was selling through offerup. He repeatedly asked for the individual to come to the cell phone store but the individual manipulated the situation for Curtis to bring the phone to him. On the morning of January 2, 2019 our lives where forever changed.

While the transaction we found our selves being set for a robbery by two individuals. One to whom went for his waistband as if he was going to shoot us.

Curtis did what anyone would do and protected himself, me, and our unborn son. This unfortunately ended in one of the individuals losing their lives and sadly we found out he was 16.

Also police let us know that they were part of a street gang that robbed people often. The two individuals were already out on bond for grand theft and robbery just the day before. The detectives told us that these situations usually end the other way around and we where very lucky to have our lives.

During police investigation they found that the teens had conspired against curtis for days leading up to the robbery.

Curtis was never arrested and we were made to believe that he wouldn’t. Now 4 months later and two months away from our son being born, the state attorneys office decided to press  manslaughter charges against him.

Anyone that knows Curtis knows his heart and his  character. He would have never used deadly force if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.

we are asking for people to either sign this petition, write an email to the state attorneys office, call the state attorneys office, or all three. My husband and I where being robbed and put in danger.
