The impacts of the Coronavirus have dramatically destroyed our Senior year. From prom and graduation ceremonies getting cancelled, to a wasted season for our spring athletes, our Senior class hasn't been able to do things every class since 1945 has. Furthermore, our state has not designed an online school plan that will be able to properly grade kids on their skills, and endless cheating will occur for the rest of the year. The Seniors are tired and unfocused, which is why we shouldn't have to go back for 8 weeks of "half-baked" education.

This is why I'm proposing that Oregon should graduate all Seniors on track to graduate this week. Senior projects have already been waived, and many kids, including me, only need 1/2 credit of English to graduate. Our government needs to realize that we've been through more than any other class, and that, if we do go online, our grades won't be a determinant of our scholastic achievement. Therefore, we need to graduate our Seniors ASAP!
