She's already resigned, so it's done. So much drama. I am new to the sport and, as someone who comes from the world of Masters swimming, can't help but notice that cycling is kinda creepy.... 50 something dudes with their 8 bikes and Sprinter vans hitting on 25-30 year olds at CX races, so much ego and taking one's self WAY too seriously. Call out the offenders for sure -- men who use, abuse, and blatantly disrespect women. Bigots and racists, put em on a list if you have clear evidence that their opinions are leading to actions that hurt others. Name 'em -- men who break the law. Put the skanks on a list and give women a heads up on who to avoid. In a nutshell, I am signing because I genuinely want to hear both "sides," despite the fact that we KNOW biological men are stronger than women. School me, I'm all ears. I want to learn, and to be able to question without being unfairly labeled as something I am not. Thanks. (BTW, I think I will pass on competing other than for fun, off-road events. WAY too much drama).

Hate has no place in any sport.

I’m disgusted by her public comments and hate. More and more children are coming out as trans - where will they fit? How can this sport be open to all? Protect our children from her hate by banning her from positions of influence.

Gross OBRA - do better. There is no excuse for having a transphobe on your board.

Transwomen are women. Transphobia has no place in cycling and definitely not coming from a person of power.

I think that this is a good opportunity for Inga to step away from OBRA board and learn about the issues surrounding transgender athletes. I'd welcome her back to her role once she demonstrates an awareness of these issues and is able to communicate concerns without opening the door to the transphobic discourse that her petition allowed.

Trans women are women. I support inclusive spaces and the work of inclusive racing groups/clubs in Oregon like Gladyators.

Trans women are women and transphobia has no place in cycling. Inga Thompson has shown herself to be transphobic and unsportsmanlike. She has no place on the OBRA board.
