I, along with many other South Meadow and Southchase residents, believe that the need for a light on this corner is CRUCIAL to stopping accidents from happening. In the 4 years I have lived in my home, I have seen an accident at this intersection at LEAST once a month.

On my way home from work last week was no different.

As I was about to turn into the South Meadow development, I watched a large truck and a small car collide with each other and spiral out of control. I then watched four minors get out of the car and run off the side of the road where they were trying to tend to whatever wounds they definitely had as they got hit HARD. 

This was the final straw for me. I reached out to the DOT and OC Traffic Services department and have heard nothing back in over two weeks. I reached out to the HOA on this matter twice and have received no help as there is nothing they can do.

I ask that you sign this petition to help save future residents, children, grandparents, friends and family members from a potentially life-threatening accident on the corner of South Meadow Dr and Town Center Blvd. An accident that could easily and safely be prevented with a traffic light.
