Reverse the decision for ineligibility to work for OCPS for LoAmmi Richardson

Reverse the decision for ineligibility to work for OCPS for LoAmmi Richardson
Why this petition matters
Lo-Ammi Richardson is a good friend to many and consistently shows uprightness of character. He has dedicated his life to serving God and the community through his work of an evangelist, mentor, and activist. He is especially passionate about working with youth. His lifelong dream is to be a teacher but Lo-Ammi was recently denied eligibility to work with youth as a full-time teacher by Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) on the grounds of him not disclosing a purged and expunged juvenile record. At the same time, he lost his substitute teacher position. By law, he is not required to divulge any information from an expunged record. Lo-Ammi did make an appeal but lost the appeal. We believe this decision by OCPS is discriminatory in nature and unethical. We are asking for those who know Lo-Ammi to sign this petition as a witness to his character and morals.
