PETITION in support of paving Substation Road at Brandon Coates Park in Orange County, Florida with Asphalt or Concrete

The following signatures have been gathered in support of paving Substation Road at Brandon Coates Park, in Orange County Florida.  The following community members who signed this petition are attesting to the facts that:

• The signing petitioners are members of the community and regularly use Brandon Coates Park.
• All signing petitioners must use Substation Road in order to utilize Brandon Coates Park.
• All signing petitioners agree and attest that the dust that is picked up and distributed into the air by each passing vehicle presents a present and immediate health risk
• All signing petitioners agree and attest that the dust and road hazards by each passing vehicle is causing present and immediate property damage to the vehicles in the park.
• All signing petitioners attest that Brandon Coates Park is the property of Orange County.
• All signing petitioners agree and attest that the Orange County Board of Commissioners is the appropriate entity to appropriate funds for this project.
• All signing petitioners sign this document with the express intent of imploring the County Commissioners to fund this project and pave Substation Road.
• All who sign this petition wish for Substation Road to be paved as soon as possible to help avoid health risks and further property damage.

Action Requested:  We, the petitioners, respectfully request that the Orange County Board of Commissioners find that the health and property damage risks outweigh the utility company in having the roadway at Brandon Coates Park remain unpaved dirt/sand. We respectfully ask the Orange County Board to retain the services of a company that will pave Substation Road at Brandon Coates Park in Orange County Florida.
