OPTIONAL masks for Target Range students

OPTIONAL masks for Target Range students

To the Target Range Board of Trustees and Governor Greg Gianforte:
We, the parents, teachers, and staff of Target Range School respectfully request the universal face mask mandate be OPTIONAL for the 2021-2022 school year. We request the board respect parents' ability to make informed decisions regarding wearing face masks at school.
After hearing from hundreds of parents in Montana, Governor Greg Gianforte, and MT Superintendent of Public schools, Elsie Arntzen, are urging local school boards and administrators to make face coverings optional. Trustees and superintendents should take due consideration to local data and the voices of Montana parents as it relates to whether their children are required to wear masks in schools.
Making masks OPTIONAL for the 2021-2022 school year will allow those who would like to continue to wear them to do so. OPTIONAL masks will enable all parties to chose what is best for their children.
Please consider signing and sharing this petition if you believe the mask mandate should be OPTIONAL for this coming school year at Target Range. Thank you.
