The Adaptive Baboon Management Plan designed to inflict as much pain as possible on the baboons because according to the architects of this plan this is what stops the baboons from foraging and drinking water and taking shelter from the elements. 

If you want to observe up to seventeen employees scream and shout and throw stones at baboons through the village of Pringle Bay while they try to “manage”  20 baboons, Thursday is always a good day to watch this embarrassing fiasco. 

Apparently this absurdity is based on science.
