Whanau present throughout the peaceful protest held during Waitangi Weekend Friday 4th - 7th February 2022 no signs visible for campers stating councils & Upokorehe BYLAWS therefore WE the whanau & Kaitiaki supporting Sonia Nikora Kohiti peaceful protest held here are asking the community and our Iwi for a conservation RAHUI to be enforced to restore the Mauri (health, life force) of the whenua reservation known as Te Ahiaua prohibiting NO CAMPING self contained campervans, housebuses, tents and taking of SHELLFISH & FISH given time for the survival of our KAIMOANA.
