Operation Sunset

The Toronto Sun speaks to the very worst in human nature and supports policies that are bad for Toronto. In addition to being sexist, homophobic / transphobic and, at times, racist the Sun has supported policies and government proposals which threaten the very fabric of Toronto including cuts to libraries, education, public health, the TTC, parks, cycling, the arts and programs designed to help the poor, new immigrants, children, the elderly and more. They have, in short, taken positions against everything that makes Toronto a community and everything that makes it a great place to live.

As companies, and advertisers, you have a responsibility to the communities you serve. By advertising in the Toronto Sun you are shirking that responsibility and causing damage to the public that you hope to serve as customers. As consumers we will take note of this and attempt to avoid shopping with companies and organizations that choose to do business with the Toronto Sun.
