in paisley grammar school for the last few weeks all the toilets were locked during 1st, 3rd and 5th period. that was bad enough and now as of today they are all locked and teachers will not let you leave class unless you have a toilet pass. this is an issue because people cannot choose when they need to go to the toilets, also girls basic hygiene is an issue. toilets are open at break and lunch but at break they are so full you can’t use them and at lunch if you go out of school grounds  to buy lunch you can’t come back until 10 minutes to the bell so there is no time to go because when u get to the toilets there is a teacher standing outside not letting more than a few people in at once so there is always a que, if the bell goes whilst you are waiting in this que the teacher will not let you in and you will have to go to class, they are locked straight after the bell. this has been a problem for the last year and even after talking to the island heads multiple times nothing has changed. Using the bathroom is necessary in order to stay healthy. It is a human right. Performing bodily functions such as eating, breathing and using the bathroom is not a privilege. It is a right.
