Many residents were drawn to Pine Lake because of the lake and the opportunities for swimming and recreational access. We see swimming access and park space not only as amenities but as valuable resources for our community.

Residents understand concerns about the lake and beach being crowded and generally believe that the proposed beach monitor and capacity limit are reasonable policies to address these areas of concern.

We are requesting the following swimming policies for the 2022 season.

In favor of the following:

• Open 7 days a week
• Open dawn to dusk in accordance with existing park hours

Generally in favor of, or not opposed to, the following:

• Beach monitor present during historically high traffic times (Fri, Sat, Sun)
• Capacity limit of 100 - 125 people
