SCU recently announced that the outdoor parking garage will close over the summer. The gym in recent years has always done summer membership but this year has not, forgetting about all students, especially juniors and seniors who are living off-campus during the summer. With covid in the rearview mirror, the gym is a much needed outlet and de-stressor for off campus students who can't afford an expensive gym membership. We are petitioning Janice DeMonsi (Director of Recreation) and Jeanne Rosenberger (Vice Provost for Student Life) to open the outdoor gym over the summer. Spread the word!
