Unfortunately the Home Office under the guidance of Priti Patel is a shambles as far as saving thousands of innocent Ukrainian people is concerned.

Whilst we wait for 3 weeks for visas to be issued under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, Mrs Patel seems either totally incompetent or unwilling to accept the truth. These people need to be rescued right now!

Mrs Patel is forever putting forward lame excuses about so many things that she touches.  

Her radio interview today about the Home Office visa application process and delays was pathetic, citing that it is a new process and will take some time to bed in.

How much more suffering must these poor people put up with while the Home Office stumbles on and thousands more are put at risk or even die.

Do we as a once proud nation even really care?

This Homes for Ukraines scheme must be sorted immediately.

The rest of Europe are all doing their bit, whilst we seem to hide behind incompetence and bureaucracy and achieve virtually nothing.
