Recently, the Liberal Party MP for the West Vancouver - Sunshine Coast - Sea to Sky Country riding, Mr. Patrick Weiler, sent out a newsletter with his party's proposed policies. For three main reasons this newsletter should be of great concern to everyone.

1. It puts forth massive spending increases but never once mentions how the federal government plans to finance this spending
2. It advocates for the further enlargement of the federal government
3. It employs deceptive language in order to justify these spending increases and enlargements of the federal government

I have written a point by point refutation of Mr. Weiler's newsletter. It is a very easy to read PDF with comment boxes placed next to the corresponding columns. It can be downloaded here.

Please read it, or at least portions of it, and if you agree in the principles of fiscal responsibility and limited government, as I do, then kindly sign this petition. I will then print out the signatures and deliver a copy to Mr. Weiler's office.
