I hate that it has came down to this, but im calling for your help. 

The Marion County Fairgrounds located at 7300 East Troy Avenue in Indianapolis Indiana is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This past Sunday July 26th 2022 my family along with others were denied proper handicapped parking at the MCFG. The paved ADA required accessible parking is there, but blocked off by a temporary chain link fence and all access is being denied. 

When I address this issues with a Fair employee, one of directors of the MCFG, he admitted they had blocked off the only proper ADA parking and the only parking they had was in the fields. He saw no issue with not having the parking and even shared that another family had just left because they were refused proper parking for their handicapped van for their daughter. After our conversation he had promised to remove the fence within the next 24 hours, so after taking his word, I gave him 48 hours and went back to find the fence still up. 

After doing a news interview today with Wish TV 8 and the Executive Director of the MCFG being interviewed also he stated that they have no intentions of addressing the issue or opening up the handicapped parking or installing new ADA compliant parking. 

I'm asking you sign this petition and let's get the correct parking for those that need it.
