With the recent announcements in Ontario, gyms and health services were once again grouped into venues that have been deemed "risky" without any underlying data or examples that gyms are spreading COVID-19.  As an instructor at one of the larger chains in Canada, I personally see that precautions and safety measures that are in place to ensure the facilities are clean and sanitized.  Additionally, in the 7 months that we have been open since July, there has only been ONE case reported in our specific gym.  When the precautions are taken, the gyms are safe. 

Gyms and health facilities are essential to our physical and mental well being.  I am tired of the Ontario government making decisions that are not backed by facts, data or evidence.  It's time to let Doug Ford and the Ontario Government know that gyms need to be reopened immediately.
