Gentry Academy is closed campus for all students, including during lunch and for part-time PSEO students. Senior students should be allowed to check out at the front desk with the receptionist and go get themselves lunch. They would have to be an upstanding student with a limited amount of tardies. This also goes for PSEO students who have multiple PSEO periods and have the option to either stay in school and do their class, or leave the campus if they choose to do so. Instead of keeping them in school, they have the option to do their work in the comfort of their own home. There should be a change where seniors get their privileges and be trusted with their choices. Gentry Academy can change this by opening their campus and creating a form that parents can sign to have the option of their child or children to leave campus.
