Because of the war in Ukraine and martial law taking place since 24 of February, 2022, there are millions of male citizens, who might have no military experience, or can't/not willing to/not ready to take weapons and be sent to war zone. On the contrary, it is common when citizens are rejected in enlistment office due to the lack of experience. Though, Ukrainian government claims that people with no experience are in no need, they still are not allowed to leave the country.

In the meantime, lots of people have lost their jobs because of the war and in result can't find new jobs due to it's absence, or revenue simply doesn't satisfy basic needs. One have lost their businesses. Somebody had work contracts abroad, and etc. Also, in general, there is no financial help for those people, they are to survive in Ukraine and are literally trapped for half a year. There are many specialists in Ukraine who could merely work abroad and send earned money back to their families in Ukraine by this way helping its economy, donating to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to help to win this war.

I would like to highlight this situation and mention that defending democratic country on the battlefield should be the act of one's own will, and shall not be enforced. If it is said that Ukraine requires experienced and motivated soldiers, there is no need in keeping millions of people who might have no military experience being locked up in the country. Instead, people should be allowed to leave the country freely at least for a limited period of time, or they have to come back as soon as they are asked to.

Share this petition and hopefully this issue will be reconsidered. Citizens should decide for themselves where they may help and do their best. Let's not become alike The Kremlin, because, at the end of the day, we are free people of a free country.
