I'm signing this because I too have an autistic child who has benefited from the support of a SRB unit. These are great assitions to mainstream schools.

My daughter now attends a SRB after crashing through two other schools. Attending the SRB has changed her life as neither my daughter nor the standard state education system could cope with her condition. It is impossible to stress how much the SRB has helped helped her and our entire family. She now looks forward to school rather than fearing a system that was never built to understand her ASD.

I'm signing this as I have a 12 year old autistic daughter in mainstream school. She is struggling to cope with the transition from Junior School to High School.
Resources in Norfolk are hard enough to find or come by so I find it incredibly frustrating and ridiculous that this particular resource wants to close despite the local governing body wanting to keep it open.

My twin boys had problems with their speech and without this school, they would not have got the professional help they needed
