At the moment there is no veterinary practice in our village and local residents have to take their pets either to a neighbouring village or to Cambridge to seek treatment.

For people with available transport, this is relatively easy but there are a large (and increasing) number of people who lack transport and have no relatives living locally who can help out.

There are a number of empty units on the industrial estates around Bar Hill, even more still under construction.
