Open a Culver's in Corvallis, OR
Why this petition matters

The Willamette Valley is home to a great diversity of cultures and cuisines. Corvallis is home to over 60,000 people. It is also home to Oregon State University, the largest university in Oregon with an annual student population of over 30,000 people from across the globe. As the population grows, the demand for good, cheap, fast eats is always on the rise. However the fast food situation in Corvallis is totally sad.
I frequently see cars lined up in the street to get drive-thru orders from McDonald's and Dairy Queen, both of which have terrible food. It is an embarrassment to cuisine everywhere and the overall palate of this town. Corvallis desperately needs a Culver's, home of the ButterBurger and amazing fried Wisconsin cheese curds. No where else can you get a patty made of a special blend of three cuts of beef: sirloin, chuck and plate. All prized cuts, all well-marbled for richness and flavor with no fillers to get in the way. A burger that is fresh, never frozen, never compromised on flavor, and served on a buttered and lightly-toasted bun. No where else can you get fresh frozen custard churned daily in small batches all day long to provide the most premium dessert you've ever tasted. Luscious and creamy with farm fresh dairy, it contains less air so it’s denser and richer than ordinary ice cream. And because it’s served at a temperature that won’t freeze your taste buds, you actually experience the flavor longer. Lastly, no where else can you get a ready source of fried Wisconsin cheese curds.
Bringing Culver's to Oregon would be a win for culture, a win for cuisine, a win for farmers, and a win for everyone's health, happiness, and well-being. Let's make fast food palatable again.
