More on this petition:
The Elementary Students of Ontario deserve to re-enter school on September 8, 2020 in the most safest way possible. We deserve to be in class learning with our teachers and socializing with our friends. In order to keep us safe we need at least one meter of distance in our classrooms from kindergarten to grade 8. That means our class sizes need to be smaller. Please sign my petition urging Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce to lower class sizes in all grades to a maximum of 15 students per class. We all want to return to school. Students should not be afraid to go back into their classrooms in September. Class sizes need to be lowered and every option needs to be put into place to make students feel safe at school in September. It is our right to be in our classrooms and it is not wrong to ask our government leaders to protect us. We are just kids who want to be kids again and need our adults in powerful government positions to protect us so we can have a future. Ontario Premier Doug Ford and The Education Minister Of Ontario Stephen Lecce have the resources to stop children from getting sick and possibly contracting this terrible virus. A virus that we don’t know nearly enough about. I, Peter Szick believe every child has the right to be in school and learn face to face. If you are going to open schools than do it so every child can be there in the classroom, safely and protected. Please lower class sizes. We want our schools back and deserve a chance at a future.
