Ontario announced that it will be ordering all hospitals to cancel elective non-urgent surgeries to help reduce the strain on the health care system during the Omicron wave of the pandemic. The problem is that now Cancer Patients who require LIFE SAVING surgeries are now being told that their surgeries are being cancelled indefinitely, with no specific dates. 
Surgery for cancer is NOT ELECTIVE. The Ontario Ministry of Health MUST realize that they cannot continue to put CANCER PATIENT LIVES on the back burner. Sign this petition if you agree that Cancer patients CAN NOT wait for life saving surgeries and join in asking the Ontario Ministry of health to change their mind about this decision.
