Everyone should be practicing best medicine - keeping the tools available at an affordable price is essential. Ultimately if best medicine is practiced, financial saving follows.

I check the RxTx website (i.e. the Canadian Pharmacists Association) and found that one year of the top tier of the service (RxTx 3) $769 and that bulk discounts for purchasing more than 10 licenses are available.

This seems to me to be something very reasonable and that the Government of Canada should take over funding for so as to make it universally available to ALL CANADIANS for free.

(If not all Canadians, then all currently registered health professionals and student health professionals. But ALL Canadians would be better.)

Lifesaving information should NOT be behind paywalls.

This is an essential resource for clinical practice, both for therapeutics and the avoidance of harm from medicines.
