Increase the number of personal support staff in Ontario long term care homes
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The minimum number of staff to residents aloud by law in Ontario's 630 long term care homes is 1 care provider to every 10 residents and this number drops to 1 care giver to 14 residents come night time. Lack of staff and over worked employees have been and are going to continue effecting the care and quality of life to those relying on help with everyday tasks. Increased staff and regulated schedules with lift weight of the care givers and provide a better environment for the people who need it.
