Signor Presidente,
ONOREVOLE,
Se lei, come dice, rappresenta tutti noi, come può permettere alla giustizia spagnola di calpestare i voti di tre milioni di europei? Come può tollerare che la richiesta di revoca dell'immunità parlamentare dei deputati Carles Puigdemont, Clara Ponsatí, Toni Comín e Oriol Junqueras venga esaminata da una Commissione parlamentare presieduta da uno spagnolo? Come può accettare che il presidente del gruppo parlamentare EFA rimanga in carcere, nonostante una sentenza della CJEU ne richieda il rilascio? Come può accettare che i contributi dei cittadini europei ai costi operativi del Parlamento europeo coprano anche gli emolumenti di quegli eurodeputati spagnoli animati dall’odio verso il movimento indipendentista catalano? Un movimento transgenerazionale e pacifico.
Per tutte queste ragioni, le chiediamo di rispettare i diritti di coloro che sono stati eletti democraticamente consentendo a questi quattro eurodeputati di esercitare la loro funzione, promuovendo così il dialogo e la concordia.

English: If you are one of us (uno di voi), as you claim to be, how can you permit Spanish justice to ride roughshod over the votes of three million Europeans?
How can you tolerate that the examination of the request for the waiver of the parliamentary immunity of the MEPs Carles Puigdemont, Clara Ponsatí, Toni Comín and Oriol Junqueras be examined by a Parliamentary Commission presided by a Spaniard?How can you accept that the President of the Parliamentary Group EFA be kept imprisoned in spite of a CJEU ruling that demands his release?How can you tolerate that the contributions made by European citizens to the operational costs of the European Parliament  cover the emoluments of Spanish MEPs devoured by hatred of the Catalan independence movement? A movement that is transgenerational and pacific? For all of the above reasons, we request that you respect the rights of those who democratically elected them by allowing these four MEPs to sit, thus promoting dialogue and concord.

Comment pouvez-vous tolérer que l’examen de la levée d’immunité parlementaire des Eurodéputés Carles Puigdemont, Clara Ponsati et Toni Comin soit examinée par une Commission Parlementaire présidée par un Espagnol? Comment pouvez-vous accepter que le Président du Groupe Parlmentaire EFA, soit maintenu en prison malgré un jugement de la CJUE demandant sa libération? Comment pouvez-vous tolérer que nos contributions de citoyens européens aux frais de fonctionnement du Parlement Européen couvrent les émoluments d’eurodéputés espagnols habités par la haine du mouvement indépendantiste Catalan? Un mouvement transgenerationnel et pacifique? Pour toutes ces raisons, nous demandons que vous respectiez le droit de ceux qui ont élu démocratiquement ces 4 députés européens et que vous les laissiez siéger en promouvant le dialogue et la concorde.
