Final Year Biomedical,Medical and Nutritional students of Demontfort University (DMU)

Recently DMU have announced that  3rd year exams will be in person for most undergradutes, this is after having to complete 2 years worth of assements and exams online. Ours also being the academic year, where we did not complete A level exams due to Covid19. None of us have participated in an in-person exam since 2018 (during GCSE's over 4 years ago) and others even longer than that. Final year is already challenging as it is worth 75% of our degree alongside completing a dissertation/research project and demanding modules without having to worry about redesigning all the revsion techniques we have accumulated in the last 4 years.

Our year has had to reshape so much of our educational assessments already due to the pandemic, now were having to do it again in our most important academic year to date. 

We understand that in person exams will be brought back to all academic years as we return back to normal routine from the pandemic, however health life and science final years students have had little to no time time to adapt compared to any other year. 

Please sign the petition to request to the University and the IBMS accreditors that our in person exams should be converted online or at least majority of.
