Despite the existence of the Pickleball Hall of Fame since 2017, USA Pickleball recently announced they were launching their own USA Pickleball Hall of Fame and Museum.  Unfortunately, this initiative will be duplicate, divisive and detrimental to the sport. 

The current Pickleball Hall of Fame is well-respected and has enshrined 17 of the sports greatest contributors and competitors over the past 5 years and will soon be opening a brick and mortar museum in Austin, TX to honor these inductees forever.  USA Pickleball has enough current challenges to govern the sport and a 2nd hall of fame is the last thing they should be considering.  An independent body is better suited to ensure the governance and sanctity of all the institutions' processes, procedures and requirements.  

Please join our movement to convince USA Pickleball to reverse their decision to create a 2nd hall of fame... it is not beneficial to the game and will cause divisiveness and confusion for our beloved sport.
