Belleayre Mountain has been a friendly resort allowing snowksate enthusiasts to have access to their lift serviced terrain. A new managing team at the Olympic Regional Development Authority which manages Belleayre Mountain in the Catskills is going to revoke lift access privileges to snowskaters after eight years of incident free usage. As snowskating becomes more popular, and a steadily increasing list of mountains recognize snowskates as acceptable winter sports equipment, Belleayre is planning to move backward and prevent a certain segment of the public from having fun. ORDA's management team wants to discriminate against a minority segment of the winter sport's population. Please voice your support for snowskaters, so that Belleayre can continue to be a progressive beacon of acceptance and inclusion.
