Raise the minimum wage in Olympia, WA to $15 an hour and secure scheduling

It is time for Olympia to join other cities that raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. When people are struggling, just to make it by on the current minimum wage you know there is a problem. The minimum wage was based on the cost of living. Olympia city council should be leaders, not followers. Lead all our local communities for the fight for living in our communities. A poll in 2015 shows that 69% of the Olympian support $15 minimum wage. The higher minimum wage would be nothing without secure scheduling. So I urge the public to fight for 15 here in Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater. Pressure our public officials to do the right thing for those who are just struggling.
