Refund patrons who booked a table at your event

This petition made change with 44 supporters!

We were promised "There will be Stein races, beard competitions, strong woman battles, miss Oktoberfest, cow milking, ompa bands and of course beer, lots and lots of beer. Hobart will come to life as Princes Wharf 1 plays host to this beer swillin, bratwurst eating extravaganza on Oktober 10 & 11.You’ll have the chance to sample the finest in German food, taste a huge range of local and imported beers, enjoy traditional German music and entertainment, learn about the Bavarian culture and history and get in on plenty of fun at the biggest party in town."

Sadly, none of this was true and is in fact, false advertising!  People who had booked a table had to line up and wait for entry while people who purchased general admission on the day got in just as quick. There was none of the promised entertainment to be found, especially inside, where the pre-booked tables were. The benches were tiny, hardly big enough to accommodate 4 adults and lots of them broke, leaving people falling to the floor.

The food was so rubbish, we were served gravy that was from a Coles brand packet mix. The music was ABBA, Queen and John Farnham - ie; not German!

We were kicked off our table 15 minutes prior to the completion of our 4 hour time slot.

Beer was advertised at $9 but went up to $10 on the Saturday.

Beer and food actually sold out before the event finished.
