I don't live in Black Diamond but we're facing a similar scenario in BC, and I support what this petition stands for, which is the rights of parents and children to have access to each other, and the need for children to have support from a parent or caregiver for both physical and mental/emotional reasons during their hockey practice.

Children need their parents for support, it helps bond the parent and child.

I am a sports mom
And I love to see my child grow and be challenged in his sports
By not being able to see any of that it's not only me who is being robbed but also my child as I am his biggest cheer leader

There is no reason why parents cannot social distance while in an arena. I think it would enforce kids socially distancing as well

Shame on you for adding more stress to the kids today. There is plenty of room in any rink for parents to social distance and support the kids.

I believe 1 parent should be allowed to attend their child's game.
