Oberlin High School plans to have students in IB classes take a practice IB test as our midterm. Not only will these tests be put in the grade book, they will be worth 20% of our course grade. Real IB tests are NEVER put in the grade book, and to have these mock tests as graded midterms is not okay. It could be detrimental for students’ GPA, college applications, and overall mental health. We are trying to make it so these scores will not go in the grade book, and they will simply be practice tests for our real IB exams in the spring. Please sign this petition if you agree!
