The students, faculty, and staff of OVU need our support! As you know, the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission is recommending that they close their doors effective at the end of Fall Semester 2021. This is causing great distress on the campus, right before finals week. Students simply do not have enough time to create a transfer plan, finish programs, or complete their athletic career if closed early. Students on campus come from 27 different states and 24 different countries. The students need OVU to remain open! As alumni, we treasure our time there because we learned so much, made friends for a lifetime, and had our lives changed just by being a part of the school. Please join me in signing this petition to keep it open at least for the remainder of the academic year and hopefully we can find solutions to help it grow and thrive to become the Christian school of the North-East!
