In light of soaring fuel prices, which are both unreasonable and unsustainable, Ohio Legislators (House and Senate) must place an immediate and open-ended moratorium on Ohio fuel tax for all fuel pumps in the state. This move provides real-time relief to families and businesses struggling to buy fuel for personal and business use. Ohio legislators recently approved a tax hike of $0.11 for gasoline and $0.18 for diesel fuels. We are now well within the top five on highest fuel tax in the United States. These costs must be contained immediately, before irreversible financial damage is incurred by the citizens of this State.
