As an 18 year old living in Ohio, I feel very unprotected in many environments, many of us live on our own as responsible adults, and are able to responsibly carry a firearm. While 18 year olds can open carry in Ohio, open carrying comes with many many problems. Transportation of the firearm in a car is complicated, it can raise panic in public, and many other problems. If we as 18 year old adults living in Ohio can go off and fight a war, I think we have the right to take the necessary steps to acquiring a concealed carry permit. The government works for us and it’s time for change, please consider signing this petition to support the freedom and personal protection of Ohio adults. If the nation considers 18 year olds as responsible adults, and to live on their own, why do we have limited rights to protect ourselves in today’s society? We demand our freedom of protection.
