Due to the global pandemic caused by the Coronavirus outbreak many citizens have been inconvenienced with school, daycare and other closings leaving them with no source of income. A large number of those civilians are single parents with no healthy support system and depend on children being in school to be able to provide for them. During this time it will be hard for a lot of people to take care of home. We as citizens are petitioning that rent be stopped or reduced until things in the U.S are under control. This will limit the possibility of homelessness /displacement because of evictions and allows families to have money for food and other necessities during this crisis. The U.S shutting down can snowball a number of issues that dont have to be issues if we work together to change it. With the virus spreading as rapidly as it is , longer school closings are a possibility and more business being shut down also there is seemingly no end in sight. These are terrifying , trying times and many people are worried. No one should have that cloud hanging over their heads thinking "How am i going to pay rent?"
