Amanda Boland started this petition to Ohio Governor and

Sex offenders should not be allowed around children regardless of their parole status.

Keeping the restrictions for sex offenders to stay away from minors will help protect your innocent children. Right now, when an offender is released from probation/parole they now have no laws to keep them away from children. An offender can legally go to a park, a birthday party, a school event etc and be around your children after they are released from probation. Changing this law will prohibit them from being able to do so.
This NEEDS to change to protect our children.

They should have to register their work address and follow the same guidelines as they do for their residential address, regardless of counties.

Sex offenders should not be able to own a business in a county and be around patrons under 18 years of age unsupervised, as well as that county not being aware of his/her status of offenses. If they are not required to register, your child can potentially go into their business unaware they are walking right up to an offender.

It’s a trend they are residing in one county and working/owning a business in another county.
This NEEDS to change.

We MUST take a stand to change the laws to protect our children!
It takes a village to raise a child. Let’s be the voice for our innocent children. They are Gods greatest gift!
